in 1931 as a not-for-profit social organization, the
Club just recently celebrated its 75th anniversary and has more than 300 members from all age groups.
Members consist of people interested in Denmark and Danish culture,
some of who are of Danish descent, some who have immigrated
from Denmark to the D.C. area, and some who just enjoy
the fellowship of the Danes and their culture. Review the bylaws for purpose and organization of the Club.
The Club offers a variety of events designed to bring together
members interested in learning about Danish culture
and in preserving Danish traditions. Movie Nights, Family nights, Danish
dinners, celebration of Danish holidays, cultural, and educational events
are just a small taste of our calendar of events.
Become a member and feast yourself on Danish traditions,
culture, food, family and fun. Come to one event or
come to all.
